Safe and Dependable Physical AI

Robots that understand and respond to real physical contact, not just imitate geometric motion. We work across the full stack, from actuator and robot design to sensing systems and learning-based control, toward human-robot coexistence.

Intelligent Robot Skin

Safe and practical whole-body tactile skins for humanoid robots. AI-oriented hardware design allows simple skin structures to yield rich contact information, where AI enables tactile super-resolution and semantic contact understanding.

Multimodal Physical Perception

Fusing tactile, proprioceptive, and inertial sensing into unified physical state representations for contact-rich environments. Giving robots physical awareness that vision alone cannot provide.

Contact-Rich Whole-Body Control

Leveraging multimodal sensing and learning-based methods for motion planning and whole-body force control. The goal is robots that are both safe and physically capable in contact-rich interaction.
